Recently when trying to visit the Gallery I have been getting errors. Not every time it seems to come and go. I do not think it related to my local connection, or antivirus/browser

I've gotten those as well, although it seems to work fine if you tell it to show all pictures. But normally I don't get them at all.

New Forum Gallery has been blocked for me for a few days on latest posts. I can look at "most commented" etc but "Database Error" contact administrator every time I click "New Forum Gallery"

Per the note I posted at the top of the Forum:

If you get an error on the Forum Gallery when first entering, please click the "List All" button which will get you to the images.

It's not a solution, but it does work...

When I went to the gallery this morning I found that all of my images are flagged as new at individual gallery level but when I view them via my images or on the main gallery page they are not. Huh! Say what?

It's not a massive issue other than the fact the tags are glaringly annoying. Before I start clicking on over three thousand images is there a simple fix?

Sorry, I have deleted all the data that was held in the viewed posts section of the database. Hopefully the database will hold up this time since it's been upgraded.

I'm confused that depending on where you view the images sometimes they have tags and other times they don't. Never mind.

As I said in my original post If I view the images on the list all page and go beyond the last thirty images I've posted as I have viewed them since the change none of the others are flagged as new. If I view the images through the my images page they are not flagged as new. If I view the images via any of my individual gallery they are flagged as new.

Images from other posters have no new tag whether I have viewed them or not. I've checked in recent comments, most viewed and most commented and there are no new tags however if I check any posters individual gallery folders images are tagged as new unless I have viewed them since the change.

Is that clear enough? If you would like further detail let me know.

Ah, that's terribly weird. Most of those are expected behaviors, but it's weird that after page 30 it doesn't show up anymore. Not sure I can fix that. Might be something to do with cache or something.

What happened to the "Gallery Artists" tab? I usually like to check on some of my favorite artists' uploads rather than browse all new images, but now I can't. The "Members" tab is there, but it's a lot harder to navigate and you can't get to an artist's images from there.

Seems to have vanished but until it's fixed just click on any gallery image and you will find a link to user galleries in orange text just above the image There is a gallery link followed by the link that you need.

Was this tab part of the grey Gallery ones or was it beside the New Gallery link as part of that menu?

The archive software is so old that "you are banned" is it's catch all for "something went wrong and I'm going to put this message up because I don't have a good error message"...

I've been having difficult accessing the site recently. I've gotten a ton of 504 errors (Gateway Time-out) that seem to happen about 80% of the time I try to access any page beyond the home page (https://hypnopics-collective.net/) . This holds true for the new forum as well as the new gallery. I cleared my cache, tried from different browsers etc etc... and the problem persists. Connection is fine for other sites so I'm pretty confident it's not a problem with my ISP.

Archive Gallery is unaffected by this issue on my end. Have you checked that? (Account not required)

Someone's using colours and quotes in the way that breaks the page.

Download button now only returning a 0kb file with, oddly, correct name.
I have to work two-fold and also use "Save image as..." over the 0kb file on my PC.
As you can imagine, this is INREDIBLY irritating!
Problem persists in Firefox and Brave browsers, with or without addons enabled.

This issue has been reported and was noted in another announcement thread.

We do not have a solution at the moment for the download button problem.

Hover over the displayed image and click on it, it will open a new window and you can down load the image from that window.

Click it again to close it.

This is the best we can do at the moment until we sort out what's going on.

Minor problem

I am set to receive an email notification for PM's received, the setting
"Notify by email every time you receive a personal message:"

I get the notification twice, as in two emails, certainly not much of a problem. I do not get emails from other people duplicated so it does not appear to be an ISP, email provider or client side issue.

I use Thunderbird email client under Windows 10

Sorry to be a bother, but the doubling stopped last night after I posted. It had been doing it for a couple of weeks at least but it seems to have stopped at this time. The last 4 PM's I have received had single emails
