The ship bobbed on the waves slightly. Gently swaying too and thro as the wind caressed the wound up sails. The deck, and cabins were empty. The crew dispersed elsewhere. The skeleton crew were off doing something only grunts knew how to do. Branwen had flown off earlier that morning. Giving Ember a coy look as she perched on the railing of the upper deck of the ship. Before giving the first mate a playful wave and then taking off. Muttering something along the lines of "lucky." and "I'll find someone to play with, don't worry about me". Leaving the door to the cabin behind her noticeably open. Creaking faintly in the wind. Opening, closing. Opening slightly more. Enticing the apparently sole remaining demoness to investigate.

If she did so, she'd find, once her eyes adjusted to the different light level of the cabin, a letter on the table. Along with a few other items. A box of chocolates, the faint trace of corruption present on them. An aphrodisiac perhaps? A maid dress was draped neatly over the back of a chair. With a body con, latex one over the chair opposite. If her curiosity was peaked, Ember might move to take the letter. It was addressed to her...

"Dearest Ember,

I do hope you've been doing your best to please me. For the moment, it would seem the crew is enjoying shore leave right now. Just me and you on the ship right now. If you want to join our underlings in plundering the treasure ashore, I'm more then happy to see what results you'll turn up. Although. If you'd prefer to plunder a different treasure. One still located on the ship? We really do have it all to ourselves for the rest of the day. And whilst I'm all for giving orders, hence the obvious. I would so hate to stifle that creativity of yours."

Her captain's writing was as neat as ever. And reaching out to trace the letters on the page, Ember would almost be able to hear the faint scratching of the pen creating them in her mind.

"So what takes your fancy. From the galley to the crow's nest. We have the run of it. And I do hope you enjoy our girls nights in as much as I do. As a stress reliever..."

The letter trailed off. Save for the faint, purple lipstick kiss ending it. Therla's desires were obvious. Even more so as the door to her cabin creaked open in the background. But she wasn't going to force anything from her subordinate. It would be up to Ember, what she wanted to do next...

A letter addressed to Victoria Murphy, Director of the Defenders of Justice, arrived at the Institute.

You'd look adorable as a raccoon, but I think an esteemed hero such as yourself deserves something more fitting.  Would you like to relax as a sloth for a couple of hours?  Mayhap, be a chandelier hanging leisurely in the Moaning Cat, free from worry for a while as you provide added beauty just by being hanging crystals?  You deserve what you desire.  I invite you to enjoy a few hours with me, becoming whatever form you may wish.  As a neutral location, the Moaning Cat would be a safe space for you to indulge in such fantasies.

I do not think such revelations will give me an advantage if we ever meet again, and you would get a break from all the chaos and responsibility you have shouldered.  This date would be purely platonic and for my part, a unique academic opportunity to observe while I ease your stress.  You can leave a message at the Moaning Cat to send your regretful decline or to arrange a date and time that fits around your obligations.  I've attached a picture of my typical form in order for you to recognize me if you agree to meet.

With much respect,
Kishar

A quick check would reveal that Kishar is someone who hasn't shown up much in Auralis as yet, but does match the images of a person that transformed people at the Auralis Waterpark into.... sea otters, dolphins, and seals.  According to the report, one security guard got turned into a statue while another managed to escape unscathed and send a text to the Defenders about the situation.  Apparently all the victims returned to their normal human forms in the end, but was that on purpose or because the situation was interrupted?

Irene kept most of her computers offline and used secure encryption and vigorous checks for viruses and other unwanted foreign data on her laptop.  Her home had security protocols to keep out intruders.  She meditated at night and had systems to check for mental for tampering.  No one was going to get in unless she wanted them in.  Not her computer, her home, or her mind.  She was a bastion.  But she was used to living alone.  So, if she thought it would be fun to write a little poetry during the season of love and put it away in a drawer before going to bed, she could be forgiven for not expecting it to be found by curious eyes while she slept.  It wasn't like she had invited three adorable characters to her home and let them stay the night whenever they wished.  And it's not like they could get bored while she slept....

If any of them found the sloppy note meant to perhaps be put into her computer later as a fun little personal record, they would be able to see these words written in blue ink:

This three-in-one beauty makes me weak.
I'm a seductress not someone meek,
But with her in the room,
My heart starts to go zoom,
And I feel like an innocent geek.

Thoughts in my mind are piously pure.
I don't sleep around.  My faith is sure.
But this isn't just lust.
It's beyond thighs and bust.
See, I really and truly want her.

I want to learn of Twice, Nice, and Vice
Sharing my love and doing it thrice.
May their wisdom here grow
There is much they don't know.
I hope that my help will be suffice.

Time will tell if they're truly for me.
They can tease, show they care, and be free.
It is hard to resist
When their lips can be kissed,
And they charm my heart so completely.

Could we play hypnotic games as friends,
Learning new ways to please on weekends?
Let me hear all their jokes
Or just make their sheets soaked.
Together on me they could depend.

After establishing the grove in the park, Rosluni came up to Tabi with a friendly smile and a piece of paper in her hand, "The naga have been exploring your internet, and some told me I should make this for you if I want to join you on a trip during this time of the year.  This is the correct human ritual, right?"  Handing over the paper, she added, "Sharliss helped me with some of the wording." The name was a familiar one, being one of the three main naga advisors for Ros and the most outwardly friendly of the three toward the plant woman.

The paper smelled sweet and reminiscent of the plant woman.  Looking more closely, Tabi would notice words staining the paper written in looping text.  Likely written using some of Roslunni's own fluids, the message said:

This new world is fascinating,
And the moon is so pretty,
So while others busy themselves masturbating,
Let's go explore the city.

You've been a sweet and helpful guide
And supportive in our partnership.
Show me where you play outside
Or like to settle in for a kip.

The darkness has its charm
And changes the sounds of this land.
Is it safe enough to evade harm
While walking these streets hand-in-hand?

Does the night have special sites?
Are there foods you like to eat?
I'd like to go and share a bite
Learning more about these treats.

Show me what you like at night
Not just naked on the forest floor.
What other things and places are a delight?
What new surprises are in store?

That's all I ask of you on this special day.
The choice is up to you, of course.
Do you have some time this night to play?

Rosluni watched the Neon Ninja read the poem, her head tilted in curiosity about how the woman would react to the rhyming words.

"This one's going out to Ali Garcia. The cutest dang bird I ever did see, yeah.

Hell yeah.

Some say that this world is always changing. Bird's eye view? It's all rearranging.
Paradise of complicated. Take good advice? Nah, we're instigating.
I've got troubles I can't even comprehend. And then there's her, who grinned and asked to be my friend.

WITH THAT FACE! GUH!!

Innocent and wild. That shining smile. I can't believe how cute, her fuckin' style. She wouldn't like me swearing, but I'd swear she likes me too...so would ya tell me this? Give me an assist. 'Fore I turn back into the mists. What's an old cold soulless girl like me to do?

Tha-thump, thump, thump!

My heart's long frozen. Elsewhere given. Youth's been spent from years of livin'. Sure as shoot I ain't the friend she might deserve. But the thing about it is, and you can blame her rizz. No matter what you might be calling this. I'm stayin' right here, right beside that lovin' bird.

Coocoo-coo-coo! <3!

She might warn away. Self-sacrifice. She'd even let her sister lead her life. Like any sister wants that wished fer any sis. Yet there's a deeper truth shinin' in her eyes, that light still burning hot inside. She dreams of dancin' through and singin' in the skies. Yet of all the things, her wings have been denied...

S'pose that means...!

I've gotta bring her up. Gotta take her high. Gotta let her sing, gotta let her fly. It's the least I could, the best I oughta do. So much to say, so much to rhyme. All that I'll save for another time. Right now, she needs my help. And help's just what I'll do.

'Cause so help me, bird, I've fallen bad for you. <3"

A note, along with an enclosed photo would inexplicably smack Kuroki in the face one day, the contents reading as following:

Lately, Kuroki’s found herself making a habit of relaxing on random rooftops in Dis where she could just bask in the nice feeling of the ambient corruption. Having largely given up on her original mission, and only just caught a new pet for Mistress (ought to wait a while before getting another one, pets are a big responsibility afterall), the days have been quite leisurely.

Until something smacked her in the face.

Annoyance turned to confusion when she realized it wasn’t some trashy pamphlet picked up by the wind. …The hell is this? The sender is clear, but she couldn’t even really tell who this was addressed to. Was this some sort of booty call? Why is one sentence and the name perfectly written and the rest chickenscratch? Was Max drunk?

Oh, wait, it’s around that time. She never had a reason to care about the season, an assassin like her wasn’t ever going to find ‘love’ anyway. Not until she met Mistress…~ Speaking of, she should go buy some chocolates for Mistress. Some normal ones, and maybe some more liquid, melty ones for… Kuroki was getting hot and bothered and fidgety just thinking about it. Maybe some gift wrapping too.

But as for the letter… Well, if fate’s delivered it to her, she may as well respond. …Does Dis even have a postal service?

Later, a letter with an attached photo will be left for Max, for the next time she shows up at that rundown tavern they drank together at.

Spoiler for Hidden:

Happy Valentine’s.

‘Nother drink or more sometime?

With love, Kuroki

The day after the Trials of the Beast Master, a man came up to Orobi Oku and handed her a simple white envelope from the young mistress, Hattori Chiyo.  Within was a short handwritten haiku on thick, quality writing paper.  It was small enough that the paper did not need to be folded within the envelope:

        What to do with you.
My mind is caught by your whims.
   Let's meet again, my boar.

A red stamp with the symbols
千服
代部

ended the message.

There was a faint clicking of heels, as the blonde entered the bar. There was no one present currently. Just as she'd planned. The main target was away, one of the rare instances of her being out of the bar. That photoshoot turning to be advantageous for her after all. The other support staff, well. When a high ranking Dominion operative wanted something. She got it.

The blonde reached out. Running a hand along the polished wood of the bar. Tapping at it with her knuckles a few times as she got to the bar tender's usual place. Reaching into the top of her dress. Plucking a letter out and sliding it onto the bar. Tucked out of sight, where no one, but the recipient would find it...

When Lethe returned, she would find the envelope easily. As a consummate professional any changes to her bar would be obvious after all. The faint smell of expensive perfume would be present when she lifted it up. Nothing more than a trace. Enough to tickle the senses. Entice. But not over whelm. Flipping the envelope over, would reveal the red lipstick mark, over the tip of the envelope's seal. There was no overwhelming urge, or compulsion to open the envelope. The sender wasn't that crass. But, should curiosity overtake Lethe's fingers. She'd find a simple letter enclosed.

"Good afternoon Lethe,

I hope we've not been working you too hard. In fact, I believe you don't have anything booked in on the 14th."

Lethe didn't. One way or the other, she'd find out that her services were not required on that particular day.

"So since you're free, I'm hoping I can steal away some of your time for a drink. I'd love to catch up, it's been far too long. Besides. It is my day after all. And I'd love to spend it with someone so unforgettable"

Despite being by herself. Lethe could practically hear the elegant giggle.

"If you're interested. Do let me know where you'd like to go. Whether you'd rather stay in your local. Or get out and try one of the other places in the city.

Yours.

V."

Lizbeth would have an email pop up in her inbox while she was on a break, it was obvious who it was from but the contents were anything but, unless one remembered the time of year.

To our dearest Lizbeth Page.

"Hello there Lizzy!
I'm going out tonight, don't worry I won't get in a tizzy
But I was wondering if you'd keep me company
Because honestly, I'm feeling lonely, honey.
I'm not a romantic, but I think you could use a break.
Maybe we could share a yummy cake?
I understand if you decline, women like you are in short supply.
But I do hope you'll take the time to reply."
