Isaac had given his contact details to a certain mermaid idol. And based on the time of year, she was taking advantage of the ability to contact him. As chance would have it, it would arrive when he was 'under the floorboards'. Or at least, when no one else was around.

Wa-ter you doing for Valentine's? It's the sea-son of love! Don't be shellfish! It's time to Shell-ebrate this super duper cute time of yea!

The music we made together last time was sand-sational! We should shake our fins together again soon! If you're not booked up by a heroine, let's get kraken for a shrimply adorable time!

There was a faint pause for a moment.

"If you wanna meet up cutie, y'know how to contact me! Don't go krillin' me here!"

A small gift was left at the reception of the Institute. For delivery to one Dawn Vargas. It was small. Cute in it's own way. A Japanese style wooden box. Neatly put together, with a blue ribbon tied around it. A small note card finished the box off. The ribbon threaded through it. On it, in insanely cutesy writing, but delicate brush strukes. Was a small message.

"Bright blue beam
Magic billowing forth.

The sky is where she makes her realm
The Wings of Azure

Mana Furnace Burns
Justice from on high

Knight who fought for Justice
Auralis Protector"

Inside, was a selection of Japanese sweets and especially a few sticks of bunny dango. And another, small letter. Equally neat, and cutesy.

I'm Iradil, from the Eternal Dragon Clan. I know we haven't met yet, but I've heard a lot about you from Yasu, and Shirley and Vee and others at the Institute! I'm going to be visiting more soon, and wanted to know if you'd like to meet up? Exchange sweets (I've heard you can make them?!) I'd love to get to know another of the Institutes Star Performers!

If that is ok, I was thinking we could go to a cafe on the 15th? The 14th was busy for some reason, but I'm assured the 15th would suit better anyway! I was told it is called 'half price chocolate day'?"

The rest of the letter, merely outlined a way Dawn could get in contact with her. As well as a slight apology. About asking for an introduction.

The Saboten household would be subjected to a strange letter that was dropped off, it oozed with residual corruption and only got through because it was deemed harmless due to the weak signature and the sender, they were notoriously weak among all defender factions, it was addressed to Kuroyuri specifically and read the following:

"Kuroyuri, you are the most angelic human I've ever laid eyes on.
Your beauty makes the wind blush.
Your hair might as well be woven silk.
Your eyes are like the ocean, so easy to dive into.
Your lips are as soft as pillows, or so I believe.
Your breasts are the ideal. Round, soft, and easy to sway to.

Of course it could be ignored, maybe it was a trap, but maybe she did have a secret admirer in the demons...

Yeah, yeah, I'm late on this, I know. I just thought of it a few hours ago.

In any case! Valentine's Day is upon us! And even though we're all lonely, that doesn't mean our characters have to be!

For this Valentine's Day Week event, you are going to write a cheesy, silly, raunchy, or otherwise purposefully bad limerick, pick-up line, or a poem from the point of view of one of your characters for another character belonging to a different player!

The character who 'wrote' said pick-up line/limerick/poem will receive a character point and the subject of their affection will receive a character point as well!

You can send or receive the Valentine Card with the same character more than once, but that character can only receive 1 point from receiving or sending a card. Any additional points that would normally be received can be passed on to any other character belonging to that player.

Additional point will be awarded to both characters if they actually go on a date together in the IC thread!

In the case where any character were to go over their usual 5-point limit, the player may choose to allocate the additional points to another character instead!

The timeframe to post your Valentine-themed notes will end on the 28th, but you can still go on the dates in the IC thread afterwards!
