This isn't really a password problem, but it may have to do with registration...

I just noticed the line in my album that lists how much space I've used... and was a bit shocked to find I'm at 13,126 out of 15,000 KB used. I didn't think I posted that much!

But is there a way to up the memory restriction? I know I don't upload a tenth as many images as some other members. Are there different tiers of membership?

Please don't think I'm complaining! The collective is like a gift horse, in whose mouth I will not look. I just have more pics that I'd like to share.

Sorry pardner. ME & Lee run through the galleries upgrading about once a month or so. If you can hold your horses and maybe hang onto that wonderful work you do on your harddrive, you'll have a lot more space really soon.

Keep an eye on the Picture Post section of the Forum and when the upgrades happen there will be a thread posted listing the people being upgraded and when they are completed....

Yeah I'll be upgraded you and a few others at the weekend. After the recent messing with gallery settings I'm being a bit more cautious about who I upgrade and when I upgrade them.

Notice for anyone who wants upgrading in the future. You'll probably have to contact me or M.E personally when you want to be upgraded. This is just so we can have a little communication with those we're handing power to.

A few weeks ago I started to join the group so I could see the pictures. I put in me username, CAT KING, and my e-mail catking@jps.net. I then waited for the e-mail that would allow me to activate my username, but when it came I goofed and deleted it before I realized what it was . So could someone please tell me what to do to fix my blunder, please.

Uff, thanks, but I try to register and it tell me that my nick is registered yet... then I write another and it say that my e-mail is registered with other nick... :? what can I do?

well assuming you still have the correct password and registered under the same name as here you just missed the activation email.

I have activated the account and you should now be able to log in.

Hi all, just a small question. I'm a longtime lurker who browses the gallery regularly, and tonight I noticed that I can't log in. I can still log in to the forums, but not the gallery. I haven't noticed any problems until now, and I was wondering if perhaps this is related to the downtime for the forums/galleries?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: I was able to access the galleries after rebooting my browser, so I'm not sure what happened. I sure hope my computer isn't being screwy...

The error was that it couldn't log me in. Naturally there have been times when there's maintenance being done on the galleries and they go down temporarily, but this is the first time I've had a login problem. It hasn't seemed to recur today, so I'm not really sure if it was a site glitch or some new glitch in my machine.

Nope, not that I could see. It simply gave a "Can't log in" message. I did make several attempts before relaunching my browser, and that seemed to solve the problem. I'll admit I did wonder if perhaps my account had been pruned since I'm generally a lurker, but that isn't the case fortunately.

Sounds like a cookie problem. If you have the forum "remember" you, & you keep the login cookie, all is well until the cookie expires...as mine did today. All you need do is delete the expired cookie from your cache, log in, have the forum remember you, & retain the newly-generated cookie in your browser cache.

I can log in to the Forum, but not the gallery, simply because I cannot remember the password, and my joining predates Firefox (which remembers the forum password).

Your Forum ID does not exist on the Gallery, did you register separately for that?
