So, full credit to fig26uk2 for their To Trap a Superhero thread helping me find Infinite Worlds.

I've started and abandoned a lot of games over the years. Inevitably as I start to work on them they spiral out of control as I come up with more and more ideas and I just burn out before I get anything really useful out of them. Infinite Worlds letting you set down the idea, tweak the parameters, and  then it's off to the races for you is very appealing to me.

But at the same time, they seem too simple to really dedicate a whole thread to each one, so I'm just gonna make this one thread and use this to share any I do make.

The Lynx AI model is definitely inferior, but still pretty good. It got into a state where no matter how much I submitted to whisper's control, she wouldn't reprogram me, just keep drugging me over and over again. Meanwhile the GPT-4 version introduced new characters, had better dialogue, and was able to generate new objectives for my villains.  Better, but WAY too expensive, being like $8 per playthrough.  I'll be sticking to Lynx.

Still, I got inspired me to make another game, it'll be hypno-focused without the comic book vibe. I have a lot of ideas, so I'm going to start writing the AI prompts.  I'll post about it here, but it will be another fem-sub protagonist trying to resist control (and failing).  I dunno guys, I think I might have a fetish or something.

That's the great thing about this whole system, it can be whatever the player wants. I've never been big on being the victim of control myself, so when I played through yours and one of Mastermind's minions tried to seduce me, I couldn't free them from Mastermind's control but I was able to transfer ownership of them to myself, at which point I decided my character was going to rationalize that a good person mind controlling people would protect them from an evil person mind controlling them, and started looking for her own tools to mind control people, eventually enslaving Whisper and turning her against Mastermind.

I think someone in the To Trap a Superhero thread suggested they wanted a High Fantasy one, so here's a mind control themed dungeon crawl.

Breaking the Party

An adventuring party is delving into a dungeon in search of the legendary Crown of Saints when their newest member finds themselves in possession of an amulet able to cast mind altering spells. You must decide if you are going to use this amulet to the benefit of the party, bending the dungeons denizens to your will, or for selfish reasons, bringing the party to heel as your personal harem. Perhaps a bit of both, you doubt the royal family who sent you on this quest will care as long as you bring the crown back.

EDIT: after playing though it a bit today I did some refining to hopefully fix some issues (my game was absolutely dead set on giving Diona she/her pronouns in the text but a full beard and muscular chest in artwork lol), it's also hopefully a bit more "gamey" requiring you to sleep no more than every 15 turns, and giving you 10 days worth of food (unless you find more in the dungeon)

EDIT EDIT: I was pretty much just asking too much of it I think. I've updated the link with a refined version I worked on most of this morning. Has anyone figured out how to make it actually limit you to a certain number of uses of an item or ability before you have to take another action? I'm mostly happy with how it plays now but I would like to limit you to three uses of the amulet before you have to sleep.

I did, that was the point of the edit. But it seems like my changes didn't help, now it's giving Fyra a beard and making the gold armoured Cleric Aina a robe wearing master of the arcane. I think I might just be overwhelming it with the number of details I'm trying to make it keep track of.

You have got a lot in there. It won't be able to keep track of what floor the party is on or how many healing spells Aina has left unless you specify in the Summarisation Instructions that it should track those details. It'll also definitely need the Tiger model to keep track of this.

At the moment in the Summarisation Instructions you've written that all the party members are women. This should go in the main instructions as it will need to know it before it writes a summary (my understanding is that the game occasionally summarises the earlier turns of the game so that the amount of text it's feeding to the AI remains manageable).

Trying to find a way to make a short game that lasts only a single, erotic induction. Came up with this, which is pretty good...sometimes. It tends to repeat itself after giving in, but it kinda works as a repeatable adventure that changes slightly every time you go in, which is very interesting. Sometimes the hypnotist uses a pocket watch, sometimes their eyes, sometimes just their voice. It's a grab bag of what did I get? It is short too, so you don't have to spend much to experience it, even multiple times so the tiger AI is an option, but it's still AI, so whether or not it's sexy is pretty hit or miss.

Allaura Brightheart: Defender of Glory
In a fantasy world, you play as Allaura Brightheart, the Holy Knight of the Sisters of Gloriana, sworn to protect the Temple of Gloriana in the village of Glory from the demonic adversary and her monstrous minions.

A demonic adversary will be slowly trying to sexually corrupt you and your morals. I am making extensive use of the trigger system.  I have done no testing, so bear with me.  If I make changes I will be updating the link here.

Edit: Triggers are really finicky.
Edit: I can not get it to stick to the goals listed.
Edit: I think I have the goal system working.  I have this set to tell you the villain's goal all the time, as a debug tool.

Is anyone else having issues with there being too many characters and the game forgetting who is who?  Like multiple times, in different games, the character I have been playing has met an NPC who has the exact same name.

The system does seem to have limitations on how much data it can track, as I learned with my attempts at Breaking The Party. The names are also randomized and it doesn't seem to check if a names already been used. If the creator wasn't specific about telling the game to keep detailed records of characters it will also often start to forget about characters (or at least details of them) that you haven't interacted with in a long time. I've had some luck keeping it more on track by full naming characters in my commands. So if instead of "hypnotize Susan" I use "hypnotize Dr. Susan Jones" it  stays much more consistent about their behaviour.

Okay this one is fun, but you have to make heavy use of the custom action bar! The way I played it is to let the game bring up the scenario, and use the custom action to do whatever I wanted, using "alien technology" as the excuse. It was actually pretty fun to try to stay in character and just do what I wanted while the game kept trying to throw me curve balls I'll detail my adventure below so you can share in the enjoyment too! Feel free to post your own adventures studying female mating habits if you wish

The game set me up in a downtown soiree with a group and happened to mention an exotic flower's scent filling the air, so I used some alien tech to make the flower's scent an aphrodisiac and observed the results. One of the women I decided to name Elara and I went up and talked to her while she was under the effects of the aphrodisiac flower, but someone knocked over a vase and she snapped out of it gaining suspicions about me and I had to flee to my ship. Once there I simply looked for a more isolated locale and settled on the home of two lesbian partners in the middle of flirting. I tried to influence their thoughts but that failed and they got suspicious, so instead I flooded the house with pheromones and made them have sex with each other before blanking their minds.

Deciding I needed a solo target to study I went back to my ship and scanned for a woman alone at her computer. Finding one I sent a hypnotic computer virus that made her masturbate. My ship alerted me to a problem though, Elara was snooping around and trying to gather evidence about me! So I flew to the next city and tried to conduct my experiments in a secretary pool, sending the virus I'd just tested to one of the more confident secretaries. Unfortunately Elara followed me, and even though I was cloaked in the office she somehow knew I was around and was searching for me. So I uploaded to virus to every single computer in the secretary pool and made my escape in the chaos of a dozen secretaries simultaneously masturbating themselves to orgasm.

Well, that got me out but now I had a big problem, Elara was more suspicious than ever and gathering evidence to locate me. So I kidnapped the confident secretary, brainwashed her into my loyal dominatrix hypnotist, and sent her after Elara to hypnotize and have sex and make her forget all about me and the evidence she'd gathered, destroying it all.

It worked! ...well kinda. Turns out Elara has a bit of a strong will and my alien computer warned me that her memory might come back. So I had my dominatrix slave lure Elara to her apartment, then I flooded the place with the pheromones from earlier, making them fall in love with a command to the dominatrix to continually hypnotize her and make sure her memories of me or my experiments never came back.

I think the real miracle of Capturing the Superheroine is how crazy you can get with it without the filter shutting things down. I've had a few scenarios that get the boot almost immediately.

I have spent so many hours trying to get a sequence to work.  I want to have the villain have phases of their plan goes like this:

Have the monsters sexually arouse you in battle

Make you willing to masturbate
Make you curious about one of the following fetishes: exhibitionism, submissive sex, being covered in cum and drinking cum

Get you to perform fellatio with the monsters

But if I allow the AI to update the list in triggers, sometimes it just changes all the goals.  If I restrict it, then the list never updates. I can't figure out how to get it to work. So frustrating, I spent like 30 bucks trying to debug it lol.

Honestly I am so disappointed by the engine's inability to navigate a moderate amount of structure.  If one of you manages to figure out how get something like this working, please give me a link to the game. In the meantime, It looks like just providing a basic concept and letting the user inputs drive the story works better for what I'm trying to do.

I rewrote it again, this time removing most of the triggers and still it just does not want to work. I runs through sequences, but the pacing is impossible to control.  It's crazy, like you want the monsters to grope her in battle to confuse then eventually arouse her, but instead the AI just says, "Oh OK, our clubs are now enchanted to make you hot when we beat you with them."

Uhm, No sir!

Yeah, the engine isn't really set up to handle structured storytelling.  Which is both it's strength and it's weakness - you can have your characters do almost anything, but you can't force the game to really do something either, except in the most general terms.

So there's a problem I'm having with playing these games from a sub perspective. I don't know if there's a way around it or if it just won't accommodate my play style the way it's built.

I like having overcoming my resistance built into the game. Caliross is the MVP for doing this, but plenty of other games work this way: when you fall under control, certain choices no longer become possible in game terms; the choice is taken away from you because you're under control. At some point your options will become the various ways of serving your master.

So far, playing Infinite Worlds as a sub hasn't really seemed to allow this: even the options it gives you tend to give you ways of breaking the control, let alone having the enter-your-own-text option. Has anyone found ways to make the gameplay of Infinite Worlds feel more like you're actually being controlled?

I think much of it just has to do with how the AI was trained: In most works in most genres, the protagonist wins in the end.  So that's what the AI trained on: The main character of the story overcomes all odds and wins.

I expect this will be a thing better AIs will do better with in the future, but at the moment there's definitely a weakness there.  You definitely can get the AI to let you lose, and you can make hard games, but it's biased towards winning.

Somehow you made it so that the engine only occasionally generates a new picture. Do you know how you did that? That saves so many processing credits.
