[Infinite Worlds] Mental Dungeon
« on: December 03, 2024, 02:18:24 PM »
Welcome to the dungeon...In this game you play a heroine who wakes up trapped in a dungeon and must escape before succumbing to the traps and becoming the Master's sex slave.  Yeah, yeah, I know pretty standard fare.  My goal with this game was to shift the perspective from the AI saying "You stare into the crystal" to instead be, "I stare into the crystal."  I also wanted it to tell the story in a way that showed the main character's thoughts.  The AI can't do italics at this point, so each time it seems to pick a different way to show those thoughts, but it is writing it out how I want, so you can actually see the main character's mental state slowly change form defiance to curiosity and arousal, to finally submission and subservience.

Currently there are five characters to choose from, Raven, Starfire, Batgirl, Lara Croft, and of course Samus Aran.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for other characters for me to add, or situations you might like to see.

This is the first time I've put as much effort into a game since Airesia's Quest, so hoping it is something people will enjoy.

I'm playing through this at the moment, and I'm enjoying it although I'm not too familiar with Infinite worlds as a platform. It is somewhat repetitive however. I'm not sure if that's just because AI tends to repeat itself.

Overall, good work, hope to see more from you

You have done an outstanding job on this one, congratulations. Itīs pretty hard to make a game where you are the one getting enslaved with IW that actually works.
I took a look under the hood on your original game version and I can see you really took your time with it. Actually it was so tempting that I started adding and tweaking things (some worked, some not, until I got to the point of the game just not starting).
I will be definetly giving your new version a try!
Thanks for the game.

For this type of games (The IA trying to enslave the player) Ocelot is fantastic. Where other models struggle hard to deliver, Ocelot will excel (perhaps a little too much)

I have been tinkering with the game and with Quailmanīs permission I am posting the result. I started prior to his last version so his last additions are not in this game

The most relevant change is an attempt to set a difficulty level selection. When you pick a girl to play you have to introduce a number that goes from 1 to 3, for easy, normal and hard. But along with that you need to choose an adequate IA. For example, Wildcat is a nice guy and will give you an easy ride even in hard mode, while Ocelot (best IA so far for this game) in hard mode will beat you unless you abuse the storyteller mode.

I hope you all enjoy it and my thanks to Quailman

Thanks! I also tried to work out a balance with the monsters, having 2 of them leading the character towards each one of the 4 possible "bad" endings.

I picked this game up again to test the new AI models and updated it a little, here is the link:

https://infiniteworlds.app/#gHPuub

The new things are:

 - A 4th level of difficulty that in theory is supposed to be beyond abusive, but the truth is that it depends on the AI model you combine it with. I suggest trying different models and different dificult levels to find a combination that meets your taste. Not every AI model has the same flavor when writting or the same level of aggresion.
 - Five new charcters to play with
 - Nine new enemy types to face
 - A few tweaks under the hood to try to smooth the harder difficulty levels

I hope you enjoy it and once again my thanks to Quailman for this game.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year

Not much new on this game but the new things are:

I added the option of getting a random character generated by the IA and it worked surprisingly well. You still need to manually set the stats you want as it will not generate a random set of stats, it will keep the existing ones. I moved it up to the top position so that anone who wants to try it doesnīt have to dip down the characters list.
Tried to give some of the characters a specific reason to be in the dungeon and so give the AI some material to make a match slightly different, but while it slightly works, still have not got the results I wanted.
Finally. eight new ladies added to the player character options, hope you enjoy them.
As for the best IA models, the ones I liked the most were the original Ocelot (not a thing anymore) and Wampus (you may still find it as a nieche model and itīs cheaper than most). Lynx is not bad, but a little lackluster
